1. How does QuickView work?
Once signed up, you simply set up an email forward so your current backup email report(s) are sent to a unique, persionalised email addresses. Every ten minutes our servers process the received emails and collates your data for you.

2. How do I know if QuickView will work for me?
QuickView works with most of the major backup software / systems. It is quick and easy to signup so why not take advantage of our 1 month free trial to test QuickView for yourself? We are constantly developing QuickView and adding support for other backup providers as required. 3. How do I fix errors with my backups?
QuickView is only a reporting system. To resolve issues with your backup you will need to refer to the errors and remedy these issues within your own systems. The full original email is available in QuickView for each backup, allowing for quick and easy access to relevant information.

4. How long do you store this information?
Information is stored for two years and copies of the emailed reports are kept for two months (unless otherwise requested).

5. Is my data private and secure?
QuickView is a reporting system and your login protects access to those reports. Our reports are solely based on the summary information imported from your emailed backup reports so we never see your actual data or have any access to your backup systems. We retrieve and store the following information from email reports:

  • Start and finish times
  • Duration
  • Status i.e. success, failed
  • Server / system names
  • Data amount backed up
  • Speed of backup
  • Sender email address

6. Do you have a free trial and how much does it cost on-going?
We offer a full one month free trial with no system limitations. After that, it is a simple annual fee of $100 USD. If you are an IT Service Provider, discounts are available to assist you and your clients.

7. I'm in IT and monitor the backups for my clients. Can QuickView help me?
It sure can. We can set you up as an IT Service Provider which will allow you to view all backups on one dashboard along with the ability to view more details for each individual client. You will be able to add clients as required and each will have their own unique email address. You also have the choice of allowing access for your clients to view their own specific reports too.
